Leidos’ Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility (CMF) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting a stand-alone manufacturing facility performing work on a hypersonic weapon system.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on all production equipment and support equipment
- Troubleshoot to diagnose problems and repairs on production equipment
- Update maintenance logs
- Follow all safety policies and procedures strictly
- Undertakes precision alignments and significant other tests associated with instillation, qualification and/or calibration of equipment and machinery
- Provides feedback for continuous improvement on equipment and facilities
- Undertakes the sourcing and ordering of required repair parts, supplies and services
- Ensures that equipment is in a safe working condition or utilize LOTO program
- Ensures prompt and regular attendance
- Performs limited carpentry, painting and electrical duties.
- May be assigned tasks outside the scope of this job description.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands on repair of electrical and mechanical systems on machinery
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Complete understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides.
- Experience with FANUC and controls.
- Experience with the use of diagnostic/specialty tools used in the troubleshooting & repair of machinery.
- Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair abilities.
- Experience with trouble shooting electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to work effectively in a group (Team) environment.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, must be able to speak/read/write English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expert on Fanuc controls
- Electrical AC/DC practical knowledge and safety standards
- Knowledge with calibrating and machine positions using dial gauge or other measuring device

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
