About this Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation, operation and maintenance of SCADA systems for water supply/urban infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in configuring and monitoring SCADA, PLC, RTU and HMI systems.
  • Support integration of field instruments, sensors, PLCs/RTUs and communication networks with the central SCADA system.
  • Monitor real-time data, alarms, trends and system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Coordinate with system integrators, contractors and site teams for SCADA-related activities.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning of PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA and communication systems.
  • Review and maintain SCADA-related drawings, I/O lists, control logic, equipment schedules and technical documentation.
  • Support data communication between field equipment and the central monitoring/control centre.
  • Assist in troubleshooting communication, instrumentation and automation-related issues.
  • Verify field data and ensure proper functioning of sensors, meters, PLCs and RTUs.
  • Support preparation of progress reports, inspection reports, testing/commissioning records and other project documentation.
  • Ensure SCADA works are implemented as per approved designs, specifications and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with the project team for timely completion of SCADA and automation activities.
