Employment Type: Consultant Assignment

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients and are looking for an IT/OT System Engineer with experience in HMI development and SCADA systems.

In this role, you will develop HMI solutions, design secure SCADA network architectures, maintain test environments, and support industrial automation projects. You will work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure and reliable IT/OT solutions while contributing throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HMI solutions using the AVEVA Orchestra platform.

  • Design secure network architectures for SCADA systems with advanced cybersecurity features.

  • Maintain and update software and hardware in the test environment.

  • Support testing, validation, and system improvements.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree, or another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.

  • Experience developing HMIs using the AVEVA Operations Control / Orchestra platform.

  • Experience with SCADA systems.

  • Experience designing secure industrial network architectures.

  • Good understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles.

  • Basic knowledge of C/C++ is an advantage.

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

  • Valid SSG-Entré certificate.
