Your Role
Integrated into a team of scientists and research engineers, you will work on research projects in medical robotics. This includes:
Developing and testing concepts for medical robotics and robot-assisted surgery
Evaluating concepts both in simulation and on real setups, getting hands-on experience with robotics in the medical field
Conducting experiments in our robotics laboratory
Presenting and discussing research findings in team and department meetings
Working with researchers and engineers in a collaborative environment at the ZEISS Innovation Hub Karlsruhe, located at the KIT Campus North

Your Profile
You are interested in technology and motivated to work on challenging tasks
You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related field
You have a strong engineering background and basic knowledge in robotics
You have programming knowledge in at least one of the following: Python, ROS, C++
Good communication skills in English and/or German
A hands-on mentality, an open mind, and excellent problem-solving and innovation skills
Passion for emerging technologies and motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
