Internship - R&D Control Software Engineer

At Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions, implemented in ABB products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise, curiosity and innovation are valued.

As a R&D Engineer Intern, you will collaborate with of our multinational team on providing cutting edge solutions for System Drives software products.

Tasks:

• Implement new features in C++ codebase
• Development of automated tests in C++ for embedded devices
• Develop and maintain documentation
• Contribute to team meetings

Requirements

• Student of 3rd year or higher in the field of automatics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
• Good knowledge C++
• Knowledge of GIT
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink
• Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Interests in Power Electronics
• Good written and spoken English
• Minimum availability 20h/week

Nice to have:

• SEP 1kV
• Experience in continuous integration (CI)
