About the Team:

The Launch team operates at the intersection of every major aspect of Terran R, from stages and payloads to ground systems, launch, landing, and refurbishment. The Cape is the only place where you see it all come together, offering a level of exposure and responsibility unmatched elsewhere in the program. This is where first flights happen, where history is built on top of history, and where the scale of what's underway is unlike anything in modern aerospace. About the Role:

As an Instrumentation and Controls Technician II, you will:

• Support the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems for a new launch facility.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades to ensure reliable operation of facility instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to execute project tasks in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.

About You:

• Exposure to instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems, with the ability and willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Foundational hands-on experience with basic electronic circuits and common industrial sensors (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow).
• Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical equipment using fundamental electrical concepts and standard diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with test and measurement equipment such as multimeters.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, including schematics and P&IDs, with guidance as needed.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.

Nice to haves but not required:

• Experience installing and configuring network-based equipment and integrating communication interfaces such as Ethernet, RS422, RS232, RS485, Modbus, or CANbus.
• Familiarity with harnessing techniques using MIL-STD type connectors.
• Familiarity with intrinsically safe instrumentation installation in hazardous areas.

Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
