Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing operations functions, preventive and corrective maintenance as applicable to job function to ensure proper functioning of plant equipment will work under the direction of site management. This position is responsible for the proper function and maintenance of equipment at a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant. Responsible for promoting safe, effective, and reliable operation.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
Proficient skills for maintaining equipment at the plant
Performs troubleshooting and documentation, and assists in the resolution of problems discovered on shift
Performs daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems.
Makes decisions and recommends appropriate repair techniques for plant equipment to peers, supervisors, plant management.
Proficient in operating material handling equipment
Develops and implements plant operating procedures
Understands relationship of equipment to plant systems
May provide instruction and teaching to fellow team members
Ensures strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures as they relate to plant operations and maintenance including but not limited to Lockout Tagout, Job Safety Analysis, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety and PPE
**LEVEL OF POSITION WILL BE DETERMINED BY APPLICABLE SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
Required Experience & Technical Skills
Five (5) or more yearsof hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and updatingInstrumentation & Controls systems, includingProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs),Distributed Control Systems (DCS), industrial networks, data historians, and control logic.
Knowledge ofindustrial computer networking, including experience with common industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, OPC).
High School Diploma/GED equivalent. Practical experience obtained through acollege degree program, trade school, technical training school, or military technical training, with a focus on electrical, instrumentation, or controls disciplines.
Knowledge intuning control loops,calibrating field instruments, and supportingprocess data communications.
Understanding ofindustrial process control principles, including PID control, interlocks, alarms, and control strategies.
Working knowledge ofPLC and DCS programming languages, configuration tools, and software platformsused in industrial environments.
Demonstrated ability totroubleshoot complex instrumentation, PLC, DCS, and network-related issuesefficiently and safely.

Professional & Work Requirements
Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across instrumentation, controls, and automation systems.
Effectivecommunication and collaboration skillsto work with operations, maintenance, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
Willing and able towork overtime and respond to calloutsas required to support plant operations.
Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining system reliability in a critical industrial environment.
