You’ll work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to design, implement, and test robotic solutions that have real-world impact in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and sustainability.

Your Role

  • Develop and test algorithms for real-time control, localization, and path planning for subsea robots.

  • Contribute to the design and integration of robotic systems and sensor payloads.

  • Participate in field testing and data collection to validate system performance.

  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, and electrical engineers to build robust robotic platforms.

  • Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices in software development (e.g., version control, code reviews, testing).

  • Support the transition of research concepts into deployable, field-ready systems.

Your Track Record

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in robotics development (industry or research).

  • Proficiency in ROS/ROS2, Python, and/or C++.

  • Hands-on experience with robotic systems, including sensors (e.g., LIDAR, IMU, cameras) and actuators.

  • Understanding of key robotics concepts such as SLAM, state estimation, or motion planning.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.

  • Experienced with collaborative development and deployment tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD, Docker).

Bonus Points

  • Experience applying machine learning to robotics problems (e.g., object detection, semantic segmentation, behavior prediction).

  • Experience with marine robotics, unmanned systems, or related environments.
