Bureau Veritas Iraq is looking to hire a I&C and SCADA Engineer based in Basra for an - on site position. Skills and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of SCADA, DCS, PLC, and plant control systems.
  • Ensure correct integration of inverters, transformers, weather stations, protection relays, and metering devices with plant SCADA.
  • Prepare and review I&C design documents, logic diagrams, communication protocols, and control philosophy.
  • Supervise and witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for I&C systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant performance through SCADA and monitoring platforms.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and utility/grid operators for I&C system compliance and grid code requirements.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity, and reliable communication across the control system network
