About this Job

We are looking for an ambitious Head of Embedded Linux development team to join our growing R&D team in Lithuania to help us grow our global presence in IoT sector by quickly and effectively responding to changing market needs and offers reliable, safe and easy-to-use solutions for such areas as Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to enhance team performance and satisfaction.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and other teams.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team’s expertise remains cutting-edge.
  • Facilitate clear communication between departments to align development efforts with business goals.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigations strategies to minimize impact.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on project progress, team performance and technical issues
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements, provide technical expertise and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead efforts to improve development processes, boost system performance, and enhance product quality.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with various departments.
  • Understanding of user experience principles and ability to incorporate them into product design and development.
  • Ability to manage and implement changes in processes, tools, or technologies while minimizing disruption.
  • Experience of working with Embedded systems, Linux.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 25Eur/h up to 40Eur/h (~4200—6700Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
