Hitachi GMS SCADA (Principal Level Programmer) JUNO BEACH, FL 12+ months contract
- Hitachi GMS SCADA expertise is extremely rare — most SCADA experience is in GE, Siemens, or OSI systems.
- NextEra expects reliability and domain knowledge around real-time energy operations.
- The job includes leadership, architecture, and mentoring responsibilities.
- Location (Juno Beach, FL) attracts candidates nationally, so rates must be competitive with remote or hybrid opportunities. We want to make sure they are searching nationwide who are open to relocating or working eastern hours remotely with ability to travel
- Minimum 3 years of Hitachi GMS SCADA Experience with large systems & different connection setup with field devices.
- Minimum 8 years of Java programming experience
- 3+ Years of Python programming experience
- Minimum 3 years of Unix/Linux working experience.
- 3+ years of Working experience with agile methodologies & Jira platform
- PERL programming experience is a plus.
