As a Field Services Specialist, you will manage resources andlogisticsto perform services and maintenance activities at customer sites. These activities includemaintaining, repairing, and refurbishing Bently Nevada hardware and software as part of the Cordant Solutions package.
As aField Services Specialist, you willbe responsible for:
Perform testing and validation of equipment, facilities, or plants to ensure compliance with designobjectivesand operational specifications.
Install and configure Bently Nevada hardware and software for machine protection and monitoring.
Respond to emergency repair requests and troubleshoot problematic equipment.
Provide technical instruction andassistanceto customersoninstallation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance.
Prepare technical reports, job status updates, material orders, quotations, and time/expense sheets.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through reports and verbal communication.
Maintain calibration of specialized tools and adhere to standardized project processes and guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you willrequire:
Have High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in instrumentation and/or process control (preferably in an industrial environment), OR
Have bachelor’s degree in engineering(Electronics, Chemical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Electrical) from an accredited college or university, OR
Have Equivalent experience in instrumentation and/or process control.
Have Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics or mechanical systems; knowledge of hardware, Modbus, OPC, networking, and serial communication protocols.
Have Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
Have Ability to travel 65–80% of the time, including weekends as required; valid passport and driver’s licenserequired.
Have Eligibility for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

The annual pay scale for this position is between $63,700.00 - $1,18,200.00.
Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
