Soilmec SpA is seeking:
FIELD SERVICE SPECIALIST
Activities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Foundation Equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, hardware, software, and communication interface problems
- Collaborate with customers to understand technical issues and provide effective solutions tailored to their needs
- Assemble, install, and wire onboard electrical systems, electrical panels, and related components
- Verify correct assembly using tools such as test heads and multimeters
- Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components
- Coordinate with internal teams—including design engineering, product management, and quality control—to solve complex technical problems and provide feedback for product improvement
- Conduct product training courses for customers and service partners to enhance their understanding and troubleshooting capabilities
- Accurately record customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Technical diploma (industrial, mechanical, electrical, electronic)
- Knowledge of mechanical/hydraulic and electrical/electrotechnical drawings
- Knowledge of electrical wiring tools and precision equipment
- Knowledge of PLC programming systems
- Familiarity with measuring instruments: testers, multimeters, and others
- Knowledge of bolt, screw, thread, and hydraulic fitting measurements
- Knowledge of measurement tools (tape measure, caliper)
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles
- Good command of the English language (B2 level)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other company areas
- Willingness to travel internationally to provide technical support to customers
