About this Job
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Perform Service Maintenance, planned, and unplanned in Focused Area: Filling lines
- Complete assigned job in a timely and qualitative manner
- Installation, Commissioning or Overhaul support/ execution
- Prepare Hazard and Risk Assessment and ensure implementation in compliance with customer & company SOP
- Perform periodical visit inspection of the plants to monitor the status and performances
- Perform site troubleshooting and/or customer support
- Write comprehensive service report timely
- Provide customer training on equipment operation and basic maintenance
- Promote company’s product and services
- Support the Service Sales in generating opportunity after site inspections
- Support Service Sales for Technical clarification & Spare Parts recommendation
- Join customer meeting when technical support is required
- Contributing positively to Business's achievement, incl his individual targets and Country targets
- Utilize the supportive tools, part of the Smart filling online (GEMS, GESP, GEA-Assist, e-shop).
- Travel requirement 80%, in the country and/or other SEA countries.
- Other tasks assigned by manager.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
2–5 years of experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning, or automation engineering.
Experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or aseptic processing industries is preferred.
Experience with filling machines, packaging equipment, or process automation systems is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machine maintenance.
Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, industrial networks, and automation troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of servo systems, sensors, instrumentation, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with aseptic processing and filling technology is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Customer-oriented mindset and communication skills.
Ability to travel frequently and work independently.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
