This position requires extensive travel to customer sites and serves as the primary technical resource for electrical controls, PLC programming, HMI systems, servo motion control, and machine integration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and industrial network issues. Modify, maintain, andoptimizeAllen-Bradleyand otherPLC programs(Horner, Mitsubishi, GE Fanuc, etc.) Support commissioning and startup of new equipment installations. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. Diagnose electrical failures involving sensors, motors, relays, safety circuits, and control components. Travel to customer sites throughout North Americaand Internationalfor service calls, installations, and commissioning projects. Train customer maintenance and operations personnel on equipment functionality andcontrolssystems. Complete detailed service reports documenting work performed, findings, and recommendations. Identifyopportunities for upgrades, retrofits, preventive maintenance programs, andadditionalservice offerings. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of industrial automation troubleshooting experience. Minimum 3 years of Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting experience. Experience supporting packaging, material handling, robotics, or manufacturing equipment preferred. Strong understanding of Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, Ethernet/IP, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with packaging equipment, bagging systems, conveyors, robotics, or automated production equipment. Experience withYaskawa,Fanuc, ABB, or other industrial robots. Knowledge of UL508A and NFPA 70E standards. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Physical Requirements Ability to travel 80%+throughout North America. Ability to work in manufacturing and industrial environments. Ability tolift upto 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work around operating machinery.
