Join Altera's Embedded Solutions team and work on cutting-edge FPGA-SoC devices! As an Intern in our Software Engineering department, you'll contribute to the implementation of FPGA designs and embedded software features for customer applications targeting our leading-edge FPGAs. This dynamic role provides a unique opportunity to work hands-on with hardware and software, including development kits, while gaining experience in digital design and programming.
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills, who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop FPGA designs and embedded software features.
Contribute to customer-facing solutions leveraging Altera's FPGA-SoC devices.
Gain hands-on experience with physical development kits and embedded systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based ona number offactors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences,trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.
$40-43/hrUSD

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field.
Exposure to programming in C/C++, Python, or Java, with a preference for low-level C programming.
Relevant experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, or other hands-on learning.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of embedded systems development.
