About The Role Reporting to the Reliability and Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Maintenance Technician will provide technical support to the site on breakdowns and projects.
Key to your success is your strong problem-solving skills and experience with systems, PLC programming, industrial networking, vision systems as well as robotic programming.
Responsibilities
- Improve workforce productivity by eliminating potential delays by providing technical support and fault finding of electrical and automation issues.
- Supervise electrical work, installation and contractors
- Carry our scheduled maintenance
- Active participation in Continuous Improvement and ad-hoc projects
- Coach production team members to better understand machine principles and their impacts
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Actively contribute and demonstrate commitment to maintaining a culture that is aligned with company values
- This role will have involvement in fitting related duties from time to time
About you
- An electrical licensed with similar experience in a manufacturing environment
- PLC fault finding & knowledge of PLCs and network communication.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and P&ID's
- Strong analytical & problem-solving
