A rapidly growing clean-energy engineering business is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Manager to lead a specialist team delivering industrial electrical design and project support.

The role combines hands-on technical work with line management, ensuring high-quality, compliant electrical solutions across RD and live projects.

Electrical Engineering Manager Permanent, Full-time Salary: £ Competitive Location: Cranleigh, SURREY

**Electrical Engineering Manager **Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and allocate resources within the Electrical Engineering team

  • Ensure engineering quality, safety and compliance across all deliverables

  • Define system-level electrical architectures and produce schematics documentation

  • Specify electrical components and generate manufacturing packages

  • Support integration, commissioning, and fault-finding activities

  • Contribute to safety reviews (HAZOP, FMEA, SIL etc.)

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and present to stakeholders

** Electrical Engineering Manager **Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

  • Strong industrial electrical design experience (control panels, wiring, instrumentation)

  • Knowledge of BS7671:2018 EN 60204

  • Functional safety experience (EN 61511)

  • PLC systems – ideally Siemens

  • ATEX experience beneficial

  • Hands-on testing and problem-solving ability

  • Able to travel internationally when required
