TSC is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to assist in the development of innovative electronics, test systems, and embedded microcontroller-based solutions. This position offers hands-on experience and professional mentorship, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to grow their expertise in electrical engineering. No candidate is expected to meet all qualifications—TSC will guide you based on your existing skills and passion for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support various electrical engineering projects. Depending on your experience and interests, responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with the research and selection of electronic components, including chip-scale, System on Chip (SoC), System on Module (SoM), and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions.
- Supporting the development, testing, debugging, and integration of embedded hardware and software systems.
- Collaborating with customers and vendors to ensure product performance meets customer specifications and industry standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Technical internship experience in electrical or computer engineering.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with analog, digital, or RF circuit design and PCB layout.
- Familiarity with electrical circuits and schematics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or C#.
- FPGA software development experience.
- Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and bare-metal microcontroller design using C and C++.
