Your Opportunity

Our Markham office has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) within our Transportation Group. This is a dynamic role where your engineering expertise will strengthen and grow on a diverse range of transportation projects.

TheElectrical Designer/EIT will work within a multidisciplinary team environmentto design efficient and reliable electricalsystems for Infrastructure, Transportation and Transit projects. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager in designing and executing electrification projects across these sectors. Electrical design will include normal and emergency power distribution system, interior and exterior building lighting systems, roadway and street lighting system, traffic signal systems, and extra-low voltage systems such as fire alarm, telecommunications, security access control, CCTV, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. The role also involves supporting the execution of various transit and transportation infrastructure projects.

**Pay Transparency:**In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
