Position Description: The Dispensing Systems Technician is responsible for assisting in the execution, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the company’s dispensing equipment systems. This role reports directly to the Dispensing Systems Manager and supports both on-site customer operations and internal technical activities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Install, refurbish, and maintain ACM dispensing equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot equipment and support Inline Treatment activities, including QC, demonstrations, and system commissioning.
- Maintain accurate records, work logs, and adhere to quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) standards.
- Foster strong, professional relationships with staff, customers, and vendors while providing technical support.
Experience:
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent, and/or 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in manufacturing or industrial machinery.
- Skilled in design, installation, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, including pneumatic valve actuation, electric and pneumatic pumps/motors, liquid flow detection and metering, and remote tank level sensing.
- Proficient in PLC and HMI programming.
- Experienced in writing and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Requirements:
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%; flexible to work weekends as needed.
- Physically able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Non-smoker/non-vaper.
