About this Job
As a Data Scientist on Meta's Manus team, you will shape the future of autonomous AI agents that understand, reason, and act in complex digital environments. Manus is Meta's general-purpose AI agent that bridges mind and action — enabling people to delegate entire workflows across research, data analysis, and software development, turning advanced AI into reliable, practical results. You will work closely with cross-functional partners including product managers, engineers, and researchers to deliver actionable insights, build robust metric systems, and drive data-informed decisions that shape the product roadmap. You will use data to help the team identify high-potential opportunities, continuously track the progress of impactful projects, and drive the team to achieve business outcomes.
Responsibilities

- Conduct analysis of product and business funnels; perform impact driver analysis and opportunity sizing aligned to team objectives
- Design and evaluate A/B experiments targeting onboarding, features, messaging, and monetization; own experiment methodology, track project progress, and deliver actionable results
- Build consensus with Product Management and Engineering partners to drive execution under uncertainty, ensuring data insights feed directly into roadmap and launch decisions
- Design and build well-crafted dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that serve the needs of management, product, and engineering teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 4+ years of experience in a data science, analytics, or related role
- Experience with core product analytics methods including metric definition, instrumentation design, funnel analysis, and retention analysis, with the ability to translate insights into decisions and actions
- Experience in business data analysis, including business modeling, metric forecasting, and metric anomaly attribution
- Experience designing and evaluating A/B experiments, with the ability to make recommendations under uncertainty
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, quality validation, and analysis
- Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights, conclusions, and recommendations to broad audiences
- Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmap and launch decisions through data-driven insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in growth-related areas such as onboarding, feature adoption, distribution, or retention
- Understanding of AI, LLM, or agent-based workflows, with the ability to collaborate closely with engineers on technical solutions
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to support collaboration with Mandarin-speaking team members and review technical documentation
- Experience presenting data-driven insights to executive and leadership audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing across an organization
