Position Objective The Controls Intern will support the Software Test Department by contributing to the testing, validation, and continuous improvement of control systems for turbomachinery equipment. This role provides hands-on experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, HMI testing, and electrical design while supporting engineering projects and delivering high-quality results in a dynamic technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the testing and validation of PLC-based control systems for turbomachinery applications.
Perform testing and troubleshooting of HMI (Human Machine Interface) software.
Assist in the development and review of electrical schematics and drawings.
Document test results and report findings to the engineering team.
Support engineers in control system commissioning, verification, and optimization activities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to software quality and system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Electromechanical Engineering, with approximately one year remaining before graduation.
Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (conversational).
Basic knowledge of PLC programming.
Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn industrial control systems and automation technologies.
This position requires working onsite five days a week.Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
