What You Will Do
- Diagnose and resolve complex automation and control system issues (PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives)
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, sensors, safety circuits, and industrial networks
- Support PLC and HMI updates, debugging, and system improvements
- Work with SCADA systems (Ignition) for monitoring, alarms, and data integration
- Lead technical support during equipment installation, startup, and commissioning
- Analyze recurring issues and implement long-term corrective solutions
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize automated processes
- Help drive continuous improvement and system reliability across production
What You Bring
- Associates degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field (preferred)
- 36 years of experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing systems
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, HMIs, motion systems, and robotics interfaces
- Knowledge of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, etc.)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot independently in fast-paced environments
- A mindset focused on problem-solving, ownership, and continuous improvement
