Position: Automation CCD/PLC Engineer

Minimum Experience Required:

Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE) or Computer Engineer with 5years minimum experience in Machine Automation and Machine Programming. Must have a capability to create program aside from debugging. Must have deep programming knowledge on CCD or Automated Inspection Camera used for visual inspection. With high understanding of Safety PLC as well as the standard machine PLC.

Knowledgeable on this different type of Programming Languages:

  1. Ladder Logic
  2. Function block diagrams
  3. Structured text
  4. Sequential flow charts
  5. Instruction List

Familiarity to use the following PLC Platform:

  1. Allen Bradley
  2. Siemens
  3. ABB
  4. Mitsubishi
  5. Omron
  6. Keyence

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Trouble shooting, Modify or Create Machine PLC program to suit the need of the plant.
  2. In-charge of the repair and maintenance of the CCD System or Automated Camera Inspection of the production machines. As well as the PLC system of the machine movement and its correct sequencing.
  3. Suggest improvement of machine automation and PLC program to improve productivity and OEE.
  4. Train technician on proper parameter modification of PLC program. As well as improve their competency on machine automation.
  5. CCD light adjustments to improve the performance.

  • Keeping up with current manufacturing and engineering trends, and providing expertise to resolve any complex issues.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
