Autonomous Vehicle Field Engineer (m/w/d)

AV (Autonomous Vehicles) Operation and validation group leads the entire AV experiments in Mobileye to achieve online performance testing as well as offline validation analysis to provide accurate and persistent feedback on every cutting-edge technology that enable Fully Autonomous Driving Capabilities - sensing, maps, control etc.

The process starts from the point of new systems design with architecture department, bring-up of new hardware/software into our AV Fleet, leading the day-to-day experiments and managing End-to-End data pipeline. We provide to AV developments groups a clear view of the AV functionalities performance. We have a full responsibility to develop our tools and infrastructures to enable our daily operation.

What will your job look like?

• Testing and evaluating the system performance in both hardware and software aspects
• Performing and supervising test drives on an open road and test tracks
• Developing tests and validation methods
• Review and analyze test results and generate summary reports
• Provide a clear, precise and full report describing the performance and functionality of the various products
• Close collaboration with the AV development, validation, and algorithm teams
• Tasks include long test drives and travel to additional local cities and abroad projects from time to time.

All you need is:

• B.Sc. in Engineering or similar field, or Apprenticeship or equivalent in the automotive field.
• Advanced driving license from OEM (BMW B2, Porsche Turbo or equivalent)
• Work with OEMs in automotive industry - Must
• Knowledge with Vector's tools (CANAPE)
• Valid driving license - Must
• Fluent English- Must
• Background in HW-SW validation - Advantage
• Good German both verbal and writing - Advantage
• A deep learning ability with orientation skills in complex documentations
• A proactive, hands-on, can-do attitude
• Independent worker and problem solver
• Team player with good communication ability
• Passion to create and continuously learn
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment
• Highly motivated and self-management skills
