Description
Help Power the Future of Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing
We're looking for a hands-on Automation Technician to support the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of automation systems used in pilot and commercial-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
In this role, you'll work with industry-leading technologies including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, DeltaV, PLCs, HMIs, DCS platforms, instrumentation, and industrial networks. What You'll Do
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, DCS systems, and smart instruments
- Perform instrument calibration, loop checks, and system commissioning
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Troubleshoot automation, controls, and process instrumentation issues
- Configure and support industrial networks including Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and DeviceNet
- Assist with system integration, startup activities, and customer installations
- Maintain project documentation and software records
- Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams
- Travel as needed to support project installations and startups
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience with automation systems, instrumentation, controls, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and/or DeltaV preferred
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, industrial networks, and instrumentation
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Instrument calibration and loop-checking experience
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology or equivalent experience preferred
- Biopharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences experience is a plus
