As expert you will bring a deeptechnical mastery of the process and equipment. That expertise allows you tolead the planning, process development and implementation of Planned MaintenanceElements ina Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. Youwill manage this through teams consisting ofvarious technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors and operations personnel.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Partner & Enable the line leader(s) todeliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost,Delivery, Sustainability & Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability; Participates inthe DMS- Daily Management systems meetings at the shift and line level
- Own the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and processand have deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; Owns the PM-Progressivemaintenance systems and work processes and the PM-Progressive Maintenance KeyPerformance Indicators for the line/s along with Centerline Management systems; ownsthe R&M-Repairs & Maintenance budget of the line
- Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systemsand plans and build capability of the teamto execute themselves; Build (spends at least50% of time) technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, sothat they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the PMPillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them atthe department level
- Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution ofspecial maintenance tasks; be responsible for Change Management on the line/s,localization of spares and proper break-down analysis and R&M cost reduction for theline/s; Represents the department/line/s as the site technology owner in the regional andglobal technology forums
- Assist in VSU for the new initiatives and enable the VSU team; Help the line leader ininternal and external benchmarking and reapplication; be the subject matter expert on oneof the component categories and be a trainer of PM related subjects for the plant

- Advanced knowledge (including AM-Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 systems &Progressive Maintenance Step 3) & skill to maintain the dedicated equipment(s)at basicconditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (BD-Breakdownmaintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment(s) and TPM -Phase 3 & 4 tools problem solving tools
- The capability to lead a Role for the Line. Qualify and coach the next level SWP owners anddrive the common opportunity areas across the line in PDCA-Plan Do Check Adjustapproach
- The capability to work as the Line Leader, developing and aligning goal/master plan for theline, deploying and managing IDP for the members, coaching team members on theirperformance management and career development
Este rol se centra en eldiseño, desarrollo, implementación, mantenimiento y optimización de sistemas de automatización industrial, con un fuerte énfasis en las plataformas deRockwell Automation.
Responsabilidades Principales:
- **Diseño y Desarrollo:**Crear arquitecturas de control usando hardware y software Rockwell (ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View, Studio 5000) y evaluar nuevas tecnologías.
- **Programación y Configuración:**Programar PLCs Allen-Bradley, desarrollar HMIs y sistemas SCADA (FactoryTalk View), y configurar variadores de frecuencia (VFDs) PowerFlex y control de movimiento Kinetix.
- **Implementación:**Supervisar la instalación, configuración y puesta en marcha de equipos, realizando pruebas FAT y SAT.
- **Soporte a Producción:**Ofrecer soporte técnico avanzado, resolver problemas críticos en tiempo real y realizar análisis de causa raíz para minimizar el tiempo de inactividad.
- **Mantenimiento y Optimización:**Diagnosticar y solucionar problemas complejos, implementar mejoras en la lógica de control y mantener los sistemas actualizados.
- **Gestión de Proyectos:**Liderar o participar en proyectos de automatización, desde la conceptualización hasta la entrega.
- **Redes Industriales:**Diseñar, configurar y mantener redes como EtherNet/IP, ControlNet y DeviceNet.
- **Documentación y Capacitación:**Crear y mantener documentación técnica y capacitar al personal.
- **Seguridad y Cumplimiento:**Asegurar el cumplimiento de normativas de seguridad industrial y estándares de calidad.
Calificaciones y Requisitos:
- **Educación:**Licenciatura/Ingeniería en Automatización, Mecatrónica, Electrónica, Eléctrica o campo relacionado.
- **Experiencia:**Mínimo de 5 a 7 años en automatización industrial, con al menos 3 años específicos en plataformas Rockwell Automation.
- **Conocimientos Técnicos (Rockwell Automation):**Expertise en PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000), HMIs/SCADA (FactoryTalk View SE/ME), Drives (PowerFlex), Motion Control (Kinetix), Redes Industriales (EtherNet/IP) y Sistemas de Seguridad (GuardLogix).
- **Habilidades Generales:**Fuertes habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas, capacidad de trabajo en equipo e independiente, excelente comunicación (español e inglés preferible), gestión de proyectos, proactividad y atención al detalle.
- **Condiciones:**Disponibilidad para trabajar en planta de fabricación, atender emergencias fuera de horario, posibles horas extras/fines de semana y rotación de turnos.
