About this Job

-General diagnostic and programming of Yaskawa and Universal robots, Seimens PLC's, Festo, Seimens and Schneider drives and others.

-Install and maintain electrical control systems.

-Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary.

-Collaborate with other departments to identify, define, and solve problems.

-Employee must perform safe and timely repairs to all assigned equipment in electrical and mechanical systems.

-Maintains proper documentation, which includes computer print-outs and system drawings.

-Other duties as assigned.

-Must have good understanding of PLC systems and ability to create basic PLC program code and program documentation. Should have good practical experience in PLC systems for process or material handling work.

-Experience with Seimens TIA Portal

-HMI basic programming experience.

-Experience with Seimens variable frequency AC drives and reduced voltage starters preferred, as well as Seimens and Festo servo/stepper systems.

-Experience specifying, installing, and troubleshooting thermocouples, pressure transducers, proximity sensors, etc.

-Proficient troubleshooting including but not limited to electrical/electronic circuits.

-Proficient at using tools, including but not limited to electronic testing equipment.

-Capability of using an Windows based PC and Microsoft Office applications.

-Must have good communication skills and the ability to relate well to a wide range of constituents.

-Must be able to function well as a member of a team.

-Must be willing to work on any assigned job from high skilled tasks to cleaning equipment.

-Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

-Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

-Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
