Automation Engineer - Rockwell and Siemens PLC

We are seeking experienced and skilled PLC Engineers with expertise in Rockwell and Siemens systems to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of PLC-based control systems. This role requires a deep understanding of automation processes, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will:

• Design, program, and commission PLC systems using Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
• Develop and implement control strategies for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC hardware and software.
• Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with other automation and IT systems.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and user manuals.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing control systems to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for system validation.

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in programming and commissioning Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block, and Structured Text.
• Strong understanding of industrial networks, including Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems, including FactoryTalk, WinCC, and others.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in industrial automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

You may have:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in the [e.g., automotive, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals].
• Familiarity with MES/MOM systems and integration with ERP systems.
• Certifications in Rockwell and Siemens PLC programming.
