In this role you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automated systems to reduce the need for human intervention and maximize efficiency of the manufacturing processes. They are responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring such technology.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve**:**

  • Design and develop electrical control systems, including electrical schematics, PLC/HMI architectures, machine safety systems, and automation standards for new equipment, retrofits, and manufacturing improvements.

  • Program, standardize, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision systems, motion controls, sensors, and industrial automation devices to ensure reliable machine performance and operational efficiency.

  • Lead machine commissioning, validation, debugging, and root cause analysis activities, supporting TBO, SBO, BO1, BO2, SOP, and launch readiness requirements while minimizing downtime, scrap, and cycle time losses.

  • Drive digitalization and data-driven manufacturing initiatives by integrating PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, databases, and plant systems to enable real-time monitoring, diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and performance analytics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing stakeholders to implement automation solutions, support equipment launches, develop technical standards, train personnel, and promote continuous improvement across operations.

If you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, machine commissioning, and manufacturing support, with willingness to travel and maintain a valid U.S. visa.

  • Strong technical expertise in PLCs, robotics, sensors, vision systems, SCADA/MES connectivity, machine data architecture, and industrial automation technologies.

  • Proficiency in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methodologies, root cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Whys), PFMEA, and troubleshooting of complex automated systems.

  • Demonstrated project management and analytical skills, including business case development, cost-benefit analysis, automation asset management, and advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
