Have you completed your education in Mechatronics and are you looking for a job where you can grow further as a Technician? As a Junior Maintenance Technician Sterilization you can gain work experience in an environment where safety, quality and a clean workplace are important. You will receive the necessary training and guidance to continue to grow into the position of Maintenance Technician.

We are expanding our operations in Amersfoort and therefore have built a new state-of-the-art Sterilization Plant. In the position of Associate Maintenance Technician Sterilization, you will support the Maintenance Technician Sterilization with the installing, maintaining, setting-up and repairing of equipment used in the process of sterilization of our advanced medical devices.

You will be part of our local Maintenance team and will be reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader Sterilization. In addition, you will work closely together with our Engineering, Production, Quality and Safety teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working safely in ATEX-zones
  • Help to install new and maintain existing equipment
  • Assist with the commissioning and qualification of new equipment
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and complete all associated controlled documentation
  • Monitor, maintain and adjust equipment according to validated data and instructions to ensure products meet our quality standards
  • Ordering and maintaining appropriate stock of equipment spare parts and tools
  • Keeping work area clean and organized according to 5S

What you bring

  • Mechatronics education (in the Netherlands level 2 MBO), or equivalent
  • Safety certification (VCA Basic) and willingness to obtain the First Responder (BHV) certificate
  • Experience as a (Maintenance) Technician in a production facility is preferred
  • Experience with grinders, column drills, bandsaw, and other workshop equipment
  • Working with visualization software SCADA as well as hazardous liquids or gasses
  • Working with safety equipment like raspatory masks and protective suit
  • Proficient level of English and Dutch, both spoken and written
  • Willing to work in two shifts (6:00-15:00 and 15:00-0:00), make use of own transport
