Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.
The work model for the role is: Onsite # LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Marine Service & Digital in Automation Marine & Ports division in South Korea.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
Executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and as quality standards.
Preparing all documents and customer reports to be signed by the customer representative.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control engineering or related field
Willingness and possibilities to travel, mainly local shipyard (95%)
Experience with electrical systems onboard ships will be an advantage
Experience with Automation systems onboard ships will be an advantage
Up to 2 years experience in new building commissioning with drive system or relevant experi-ence will be an advantage
Ability to analyze issues, find practical solutions to problems, and perform tasks under pres-sure
Proficiency in Korean and business level in English, both written and verbal
