Asset Electrical Technician

The Asset Electrical Technician will maintain, repair and troubleshoot all automated equipment in the plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Read electrical/hydraulic blueprints.
• Perform Electrical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic troubleshooting on Die Cast, CNC and other production related Assets.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens control circuits. Knowledge of GE Fanuc Robots, PLCs & MMI systems is a plus.
• Perform and execute mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs on all equipment.
• Work within a team environment to Rewire and recondition machines as needed.
• Executing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist in Mechanical repairs within a team environment
• perform other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• 5 or more years of Industrial Electrician experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of control circuits, PLC, process controls, plant electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform PM.
• Die casting or plastics industry experience preferred, but not necessary.
